Settlement-level Actor Mapping (SLAM)

In partnership with OPM and other partners, U-Learn developed the Settlement Level Actor Mapping Visualization (SLAM) tool to visualise the data contained in URRMS, and make this information more accessible to relevant audiences.

SLAM supports localisation in the Uganda refugee response by increasing local actors’ visibility, and facilitating partnerships between national-level and settlement-level stakeholders.

The Uganda Refugee Response Monitoring System (URRMS) is an initiative by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) to register partners, monitor activities, and ensure accountability in Uganda’s refugee response.

The URRMS is managed by the OPM in line with the OPM’s mandate under the Refugees Act 2006 to manage all administrative matters concerning refugees and coordinate related activities.

Special thanks to all partners who contributed to the mapping of actors in the visualization tool, including the Charter for Change Working Group Uganda (C4C), the Refugee Led Organization Network (RELON), and other stakeholders.
