This report summarises findings from a mapping of feedback and safeguarding mechanisms in Uganda’s refugee response, highlighting key strengths, gaps, and recommendations to improve accountability and service delivery for refugees and host communities.
Key insights:
• Food security is most frequently identified as the #1 priority.
• However, needs are not confined to one sector — health, education, and other services consistently appear within top-three priorities.
• Data was collected just one month before additional service cuts took effect in January 2026 — and conditions have since deteriorated due to funding constraints.
