
This report summarises findings from a mapping of feedback and safeguarding mechanisms in Uganda’s refugee response, highlighting key strengths, gaps, and recommendations to improve accountability and service delivery for refugees and host communities. Key insights: • Food security is most frequently identified as the #1 priority. • However, needs are not confined to one sector — health, education, and other services consistently appear within top-three priorities. • Data was collected just one month before additional service cuts took effect in January 2026 — and conditions have since deteriorated due to funding constraints. Community voices are clear: needs are multi-sectoral, interconnected, and urgent.
